Upon arrival in Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco, you will be greeted by your private driver and transferred to your hotel in Casablanca, where you will check in and relax for the afternoon. Depending on the weather, you may choose to make an optional visit to the Hassan II Mosque. It is one of the largest mosques in the world and its craft beauty is breathtaking. Dinner will be served at the hotel.
After breakfast, your 15-day tour of Morocco starts here, heading to Chefchaouen, Morocco’s famous blue city in the Rif Mountains. On the way you will stop in Rabat, the capital and residence of the king, for lunch and a time to enjoy the beautiful coastal city. After lunch, you will continue to Chefchaouen for the night. Dinner will be served at the hotel.
After breakfast, you will leave in the morning to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. You will spend the morning exploring the 2000-year-old ruins and getting an idea of life under the Roman Empire. Lunch will be taken in Meknes, one of the imperial cities of Morocco. After lunch, your guide will take you on a tour of Meknes, then you will head to Fez, the cultural and spiritual capital of Morocco. Dinner will be served at the hotel.
After breakfast, you will begin your guided tour of the medina, one of the largest fortified cities in the world. You will explore the narrow streets lined with fresh fruit, spice mounds, finely woven Berber rugs and many other Moroccan art objects. A visit to the Royal Palace, tanneries and potters are just some of the places you will discover. For lunch you will eat in a traditional restaurant in the heart of the medina. After lunch, you will finish the tour and return to your hotel for the evening. Dinner will be served in a local restaurant.
After a morning breakfast, you will begin your ascent through the mountains of the Middle Atlas. Most of the day will be devoted to making your way through the beautiful forests, jagged rock walls and Berber villages as you cross the Atlas Mountains and begin to descend into the Sahara Desert. Halfway, you will stop for lunch in the town of Midelt, famous for its fossils and rocks. On arrival at the Kasbah of Merzouga, a hot shower or a dip in the pool (depending on the weather) will be a treat after the trip. Dinner will be served at the Kasbah.
Most of the day will be spent relaxing at the hotel or exploring small but interesting desert towns. In the afternoon, you will leave by 4x4 through the arid lands to the majestic sand dunes of the Sahara. You will ride a camel for half an hour on the dunes to admire the sunset. You will spend the night in Berber tents (dinner is included).
After breakfast, you will return to the dromedary to the 4x4 and return to Erfoud. From Erfoud, you leave behind the High Atlas Mountains on your way to the Todra Gorge. In the afternoon, you will take a walk in the imposing gorges of Todra (600 feet high). The picturesque river valleys make a beautiful trip to the south-east of Morocco. You will spend the night in Dades before crossing the mountains of the High Atlas. Dinner will be served at the Kasbah.
After a morning breakfast, you leave in the direction of Ouarzazate along the road of the 1000 Kasbahs. If you wish, you can visit the ancient Kasbahs in the palm groves. An excursion to the Dades Gorge is worth a visit to discover this amazing natural wonder. When you arrive in Ouarzazate, you can visit this southern city, probably the most famous now for the films that have been produced in the region. Dinner will be served at the hotel.
Morning departure for the beautiful oasis of Taliouine known as the saffron capital of Morocco. Continuing to Taroudant formerly the regional capital and first capital of the Saadian dynasty located at the intersection of the Souss Valley and the High Atlas Mountains, the «little Marrakech» gives an excellent overview of the Moroccan south. Taroudant offers a pleasant setting and a unique product to researchers who rest in the shade of ochre walls and the sweetness of living and Berber hospitality of Moroccans in a temperate climate throughout the year. Visit the remarkably picturesque souks known for leather, iron, wood, painted wood, ceramics and Berber silver jewelry. Afternoon free.
After breakfast departure towards Agadir with its panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean, Posed on a crescent of sand, the wide shallow beach of Agadir extends as far as the eye can see. After lunch in Agadir, our journey continues north towards Essaouira, a place with a strong feeling where you explore the Phoenician, Berber, Portuguese, Jewish and French past in well-preserved architecture, with its small alleys and whitewashed buildings with blue paint and enchanting fishing port reflecting the Portuguese character of the 16th century settlers.
After breakfast, Departure to Marrakech via the picturesque inner road with the argan forest that only exist in this region of the world, we stop to take pictures with goats harvesting argan fruit. Then visit an argan oil cooperative run by local women… you can take a guided tour to learn how argan oil is made, chat with women and buy treats like homemade soap or «Amlou», a traditional Moroccan jam to take home. Then we continue towards Marrakech. Overnight at the hotel/Riad.
Today is a day trip to Marrakech, the second oldest imperial city known as the "Pearl of the South" to experience the captivating history and rich cultural heritage of this ancient city, you will visit the Saadian tombs , the Koutoubia Mosque the tallest building in the city, the Bahia Palace and the Majorelle Gardens. You will explore the souks and the famous Djemaa El Fna square which offers various activities (storytellers, water sellers, acrobats, snake charmers, magicians, musicians, orange juice sellers, outdoor grill stalls. It is optional. to have a Fantasia dinner at a local restaurant.Enjoy the fantasia show which includes horse shows, folklore troupes from different Moroccan regions and belly dancers.On the night.
